ICE out of Charlotte / ICE fuera de Charlotte

As Greens, we come together under a common set of Ten Key Values.  Two of these values are 'social justice and equal opportunity' and 'respect for diversity.' As we are confronted with the most recent attacks on our own neighbors and fellow Greens by the federal administration, NC Greens must also continue to put pressure on our local and state representatives who continue to stand by legislation in North Carolina like HB318, a blatantly anti-immigrant law passed in 2015 limiting municipalities in their efforts to protect their immigrant populations.

Join NC Greens, many of whom are immigrants themselves, along with la Comunidad Colectiva and Charlotte residents as we stand together and attend the Charlotte City Council Meeting to remind Mayor Jennifer Roberts and the Charlotte City Council that the people are watching and we expect each of them to publicly fight anti-immigration policy at the local, state, and federal level.
