Get the Green Party on the Ballot!

Ballot_Day_Nov_7.png

We're doing it again. On Election Day this November 7, and during Early Voting days, we need your help to get the North Carolina Green Party on the ballot for future elections. Last year and on previous election days we've gathered many thousands of petition signatures in just this one day, but now our signature requirement has been drastically lowered.

Please take our Green Ballot Day survey on the right >>. With your help and commitment to one day of gathering petition signatures with us, we'll be able to run Green candidates in this state in 2018 and on.

We can achieve Green Party access to the ballot by collecting about 11,700 signatures from registered voters on a petition sheet. We've already collected about 3,700 of those.

So we're asking you to make a commitment on Election Day, November 7, and during Early Voting:

• Take a vacation day from work.
• Take a sick day.
• Or make other plans to spend a chunk of the day outside a voting precinct near you.

The task is simple:

• Collect signatures from registered voters all day long (or as many hours as you can) on a hard-copy petition sheet outside of a voting precinct near you on Election Day and/or during Early Voting.

• While you're petitioning, tell voters about the Green Party. Hand them a flyer that outlines our positions and how to learn more information. We'll provide the materials.

If everyone in North Carolina who wrote in Stein/Baraka for president were to sign our petition, we'd get enough signature to get on the ballot for 2018 and on. Even simpler: If every one of you who donated to Stein/Baraka in 2016 or volunteered for them were to petition on Ballot Day, we'd get on the ballot for 2018 and on.

Hurry, because Early Voting has already begun in many municipalities.

You can find voting site per county here: https://vt.ncsbe.gov/ossite/

Please take the survey on the right >> to sign up to volunteer, and we'll be in touch.

Can you commit to collecting petition signatures outside of a voting precinct for at least 3 hours on Election Day, November 7?

Election Day is the #1 day of the year to collect petition signatures from registered voters.
